Best Children's Books of 2013: Roundup of Reviewers' Choices


Book lovers, it's time to discover marvelous new books, meet unforgettable characters and amazing authors. The year 2013 brought many literary treasures. I'll kick off the new year with a roundup of top book review publications' lists of the best children's fiction and picture books of 2013.   2. Thanks for the post! Part of me doesn't like lists, simply because there are so many talented writers who didn't make the cut. But another part of me LOVES these things – it simplifies the search for putting good books into kids' hands! Thanks for compiling. With all the bookstore gift cards we received this Christmas, we need to print a few of these out and go shopping!

  3. Wow. So many lists, so many books. I guess my favorites from 2013 were -- Picture book - Have You Seen My New Blue Socks, MG -- Sure Signs of Crazy, YA - Rose Under Fire. What the lists told me were how many I missed!
