Ditto, Kathy!! What an inspiring experience.
ReplyDeleteI went in 2004 and loved the whole experience. It was definitely one of the highlights of my writing life so far!
ReplyDeleteMine, too, Dawn!
ReplyDeleteI want to so much. Maybe next year. I've been to Founder's Workshops. I reviewed one on my blog which looks an awful lot like yours. (http://rosihollinbeckthewritestuff.blogspot.com/2011/05/highlights-founders-workshop-with-peter.html) I love the workshops! And I've been to a Carolyn Yoder Alumni Retreat, which I also love so much I'm going to another one this weekend, but I do hope to go to Chautauqua. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteKathy:
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with your assessment! As for recommendations of conferences, I'd say the SCBWI-LA is spectacular but more overwhelming because you do most of the same things as Chautauqua but squished into 3 or 4 days!
I've put up 3 posts on my blog about Chautauqua so far and expect one more, then a giveaway. Check out my blog and you're welcome to sign up and follow too.
